Description of event: Orey had a couple of episodes in 1996. He was mushroom picking with Chris (a science teacher), and was walking along the Abaqua Ridge, the sky blue, and about noon. He was tapping trees periodically, two or three taps as he went. Then he noticed 150 yards off another mushroom hunter, which as it came closer, turned into a tall-lean 6 1/2 or 7 foot Bigfoot coming his way. It kept coming until 75-100 feet away. It was a deep dark red from head to toe, walking in a crouched position, and swinging its arms in an exaggerated fashion. He yelled at it and it turned and went back over the ridge. The teacher didn't see it. Any questions, etc., Orey would prefer you send through me, as he doesn't want to be bothered. Also, some of his areas of study he just wants me to refer to as Abaqua or Molalla area, as he's still actively investigating them.
