Description of event: Witness was working with a ranger from the Sierra Club at Squaw Meadows, south of Squaw Mountain (T4S R6E, Sec. 14), OR, where they were clearing barbed wire. Camped overnight, July 15-16th, he tried tapping on wood in an attempt to communicate with Bigfoot, and was surprised to have a reply, a very loud rap from the Roaring River valley below. The next day while working, a herd of motorcycles went roaring by at a higher elevation. Still reeling from the noise, he heard after they left a very loud, "whoop," sorta' monkey-like, he said.
