Saddle Mt. - Man's car goes off road, hears screams following him as he walks off of mountain

REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: Nick Gardner climbed to the top of Saddles Mt. He stayed at the top too long; it was almost dark by the time he came down. In the car a short distance south of the campground he hit a bump and the car went off the road. He was forced to walk in the dark and was spooked by eerie screams; first from far away, then with 200 yards of him. He never saw what made the noise - hiked to the highway for help and swore never to be in that area again after dark.
