Description of event: A guy I worked with and a friend of his were building a deer stand in a large tree.This guy was up in the tree,hammering boards for the stand,and his friend was on the ground,sending boards up to him with a rope.This guy told me that they started hearing sounds coming from the woods above where they were at.He said they were sort of deep coughing sounds.Then some trees started shaking violentlywhere the sounds were comming from,and they knew that whatever it was,it was shaking these trees.The guy said he half-fell out of the tree climbing down,and he and the other guy left the area in a hurry.He said they could hear the creature following them for a little ways,but never saw it.They never went back,and they left the hammewr and rope in the tree.I could probably locate this guy if you want to talk to him.
