Description of event: I live in Ohio but my dad is from Tennesse, so every summer we go back to my grandmothers house. She owns about 6 acres of woods. My uncle and I have a 4-wheeler that we ride there. It is mostly me that rides it. My uncle cuts his own logs and sells them so he has a logging trail that he has cleared and sold. I ususally drive the 4-wheeler through there for something to do. So that day my cousin James and uncle Dave that lives just up the road came down on their 4-wheelers and wanted to make our own trails off of the log trail. As we were riding we first smelt something like old garbage, but we thought nothing of it. Then about 10 minutes later we heard a loud roar then like a high pitch scream like a scared woman, but we then was scared because we never heard that before and there arnt any bears near where we were. So as we started back up the trails toward the house. There it was about 37 yards parralel to us. We paniced and high tailed it out of there. As we went it ran along side us untill we neared the house. It was at least 8 foot tall and ran on 2 hind legs. It was covered in black hair and the face was a bit lighter shade of black.
