Location: I am not sure of the exact location except it was out side of redding,ca and it was really late (I was driving by my friends parents).

Description of event: I was in the woods when I woke up to some noise my friend was making then i heard a loud sound in the trees and i turned my head and there it was plaine as day about 20 feet away from me it was just standing there looking at me I was so scared i did'nt even move I just stared right back hoping nothing would happenand about 10 minutes later he walked away it was the most frightening thing I've ever seen and now I believe there are Bigfoots. The total time of this staredown was about 13 minutes or so.
