Description of event: i was in the military at the time we were on a patrol about 8 of us. it was about 2:30 am pitch black out couldn't even see your hand in front of your face. we were stopped at the time when something, come crashing though the woods. it stopped just about 30 feet from us you could sense being watched. it moved a little closer and was what sounded like trees being tore down. it did not stop busting up the woods for about 15 min. everyone on the patrol was scared. the lt told us we are getting out of here. so we headed back to the fire base. it followed for a short distaance. but it gave you a weird feeling. never heard anything like that before. busting up the woods just could tell it was big by the sounds of the trees or limbs breaking.wished we could have seen what it was. there was no wind or any light or any other noises but that thing the woods was very qiet except for it.
