Description of event: Myself and a freind fished this area sence we were kids.The first time something stange happened was early in the morning.I was late and walked down the path to the lake,he was all ready there.When I got there his rods and box was on the shore but he wasn't.I figure he walked back up in the woods to take care of"things".About 10 min later he came back and asked what I was doing,had no idea what he was talking about.He told me he heard someone makeing noise in the woods behind hin and thought it was me.He followed someone or something up across the ridge but never got close enough to see what it was.I swore that it wasn't me and told him if it had been he should have been able to catch up enough to at least see me.He agreed.While we were fishing we heard what sounded to be something large walking around behind us. This is the part that makes me think it was something not human.We went back a few days later for some night fishing.we got toe the bottom of the trail and started fishing.After a while we started hearing movment behind us.One minite it would be 15 yards behind and not more than 1 to 2 min later we would hear it at the top of the ridge.During daylight it would take me at least 5 min to cover that ground.After this went on a while we figured it may be best to leave no matter what it was.We started back up the path,just going from a small clearing into heavier cover and a large,what looked and sounded to me to be a large chunk of log,just caught it out of the corner of my eye landed just to the side of us.I will just say that after that it was a miricle we were not ran over crossing I-40,never looked to see if any traffic was comeing. After this he said he had heard the same noises a couple times after that.It was a couple weeks before I went back and I never heard anything else.We had talked about it several times after and never could figure out a good explaination of what it may have been. I just though I would share this story.This area were I live is not a place you would think to have something like this happen.
