Location: "connecticut Hill w.m.area "alpine to swan hill, drive up about 2mls. take the left fork in rd. drive until you hit another fork the bear to the right. drive down the hill stop at the bridge.

REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: It was the day after thankgiving, myself and my boyfriend were in the woods hunting, saw nothing. We then headed down the hill twards the creek. We reached the creek, and followed it twards the road, we were about 50yds. from the road when out of the corner of my eye I spotted something on the embankment accross from me. It had to be only 100ft. away. It was small ( about the height of a 4-5 yr. old child) it looked to be reddish brown in color. When I told dave and turned back around it vanished. That took only a few seconds. I thought it to be strange, but we kept walking to the road. About 5min. later we were on the road, walking back to the car, Thats when we both heard the sound that to this day we cannot clear from our heads. It sounded like a mixture of a " moan,screech,and a howl" all together. Dave lived in Washington state, he has heard about every animal call. Now mind you he was carrying a firearm, it made the hair on the back of his neck stand up! I was freaking out, we ran up that road faster than lightning, and we left.
