Description of event: I grew up about 5 blocks from where this occurred and had played there my whole life so I knew the area well. My sister & I decided one evening to walk down there since it had been a few years since we had. We were standing on the edge of the creek where the bridge used to be and smelled something odd and got a feeling like we were being watched, so we decided to leave. Just as we turned to leave it started throwing rocks at us. Its about 300 yards to the end of this path from where we were and as we started walking toward the road where we came in we heard something that sounded huge moving in the trees surrounding us, whatever it was there had to be more than 1 because the noises were on both sides of us. So we got really scared at this point and decided to run because what ever we heard in those trees made it clear it didn’t want us there. As we started to run it seemed to follow us it sounded too heavy to be a man but neither one of us was about to look back to see we left that day & never went back on foot anyway. When this happened we first thought it was the guy who lived up the road who always told us not to go back there until we got up to his house and he was working in his garden. It would have been impossible for him to get back to his house that fast without us seeing him.
