REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: I was Deer hunting and had walked up a clear cut that paralled by two roads. When I reached the top I walked to the tree line and started to walk downhill about 100 yards in. It was about 3/4 of a mile back down to the other road where my father was waiting. About half way down there was a thick spot dense brush that I decided to walk around, as I did this I got "that feeling" like someone was watching me. I then noticed a really foul smell like that of wet dog but worse mixed with a skunk like smell. I stopped and stood looking around through my riflescope. That was when I noticed what I thought was a bear in the thick brush but it appeared to be way too tall, 7 or 8 feet and most bears I’ve seen are about 3to 4 feet at the shoulders. I kept looking at it then I noticed it move but only the head as it looked to its left down the hill. I was about 50 yards away and decided to keep going downhill.

I got about 20 or 30 yards away when I heard a "roar" but I didn’t sound like any other Bigfoot recording I have heard. The only way to describe it was like a loud belch as funny as that sounds. Then there was a second "roar" and at this point I quickened my pace and got the hell down the hill back to the truck and went back to camp and did not say anything about it.
