REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: My Father whom has died in Oct 1992 told me this story several times over the years. He was on vaction in Maryland hunting with some friends of his. He had described the location so well to me over the years that I decide to try to locate the area where he saw the creature. As near I can figure it was in a tree located what is now the Chesapeake Ranch Estates. In a little hallow which is off Mesquite Lane.

He was about 20 feet in a tree stand deer hunting when just a little after daylight he saw something leaning up against a tree, I sat there for a few minutes and heard my father sneeze. It looked up at him and quickly stood up and ran away.

It was about 8 feet tall cover in dark brown hair from head to toe. It had a strong odor to it. Similar to the smell of a skunk. He saw it several times over the next couple of days. But was never able to get a picture of it.
