Location: Clearlake. Across the lake from Stubbs Island and Rattlesnake Island. There was an old degrading cabin on the lake shore.
REPORT DETAIL
Description of event: My brother-in-law and myself were fishing in our boat, when we smelled a strong odor of sulfer. Shortly after that we heard splashing on the shoreline. I grabbed the flashlight and shined it toward the shore. We then saw a huge over 8ft dark shape.
I rose the flashlight beam up to the top of the shape when 2 huge eyes reflected back to me. Immediately it let out a loud, high pitched whistle/growl that ended with us leaving the area.
