REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: As a pre-teen myself and some friends would spend all day walking this creek fishing. The creek ran through a thick wooded area. There were no houses nearby. It had only one small bridge in the area that we traveled. At this bridge the water got deep, so we would have to exit the creek and travel along the bank. We would then cross a small dirt road and then back down to the bank.

This day I had gotten well ahead of my two friends, thinking I was going to fish the best spot first. After I crossed the road and headed down the bank, I started casting my rod. I soon began hearing the rusting of something headed down the bank in my direction. This area has many different types of wildlife. I became still, hoping to catch a glimpse of maybe a deer. The noises stopped maybe 100 yards of me. For about maybe 10-15 seconds, I heard nothing. It soon went from quite to very loud. It was the sound of dogs or coyotes. They seemed to be fighting each other. I could tell from the growls and then yelps that one was winning and one was losing. My two friends could hear the sounds and came running. We all remained quite as not to draw attention to us. This fight lasted only 2-3 minutes. It all ended with a series of yelps a dog makes when it is hurt.

We all stood motionless for a few more minutes, before creeping along to see what had happened. As we made our way toward the area where the fight had happened we were horrified at what we saw.

There were pieces of animal scattered in different places. A leg here and and a leg there. Blood covered the ground. The toros of one dog had be ripped from the head. We stood looking in disbelief at what we saw. We all agreed it was time to leave.

No more than we started to walk that a large brown blur began to run thourgh the woods. It moved very fast and was gone in no time. We wasted no time making our on exit. I cannot tell you what the brown object was. I only know it was very large. It was very fast. After we were safe at home, we bagan to talk about what we thought we saw. We all marveled at how such a large animal could move so fast and so Quiet!

One note I would like to point out, there are no bears or large predators in this area of the state. We didn't smell anything abnormal, nor did we see any tracks. Of course we wern't really looking for them either.

The have been reports of a large bipedal creature in this area since this encounter. The only difference in what we saw in comparison to these stories is the creature is completely white. It has been refered to as "The white thing".
