Description of event: Shortly after 12 a.m. my girlfriend and I were on our way to a local casino driving on Buckman Springs Road. We were driving about 30 m.p.h. around a corner when we saw a very unusual creature standing in the road, in the opposite lane just a couple feet from the center divide.

I am guessing it was 120 feet ahead of us when we first saw it, and the sighting lasted until we passed it, at which time we were within 4 feet of it. It stood perfectly still and was facing us.

It was bi-pedal,and stood about 4 feet tall. It was covered in short, jet-black hair, except for the face, which to me was disturbingly human-like. Its arms were very short and were tucked in close to its body, as if it had its hands clasped. To me the most striking feature of this thing were the legs, which weren't the legs of a primate. The legs from the hip to the knee were angled backwards, and forwards from the knees to the ankles. Like the legs of a bird.

Since my girlfriend was driving I pleaded with her to stop so we could look for it, but she was having none of it. Upon returning home shortly after daybreak we did stop and look for tracks but found nothing as the ground in the area is very hard and made up mostly of decomposed granite.

I realize this doesnt fit into the stereotypical idea of what a bigfoot is, and by my own account it was not a bigfoot (feet apeared rather small in fact).
