Description of event: Was with 2 friends searching for lost mine in the Trinity Mountains. They found the mine & ruins but the got trapped in snow-brush and spent the night at the mine. The next day we met up at VW camper. We drive up close to the mine location. I went through the brush to check out the mine location. I couldn't get back up the mountain because of the brush, which is tall and leans down-hill, hense Snow-Brush. I cut across the hill to where I saw pine trees and a clearing. I found a trail but steps were out of sync to my steps. Very obvious & anoying. A few minutes in the trail I felt REAL Bad. The hairs on my neck are standing stiff. Instinctively I dashed off the trail, suddenly I was on my knees coiled up covering my eyes, terrified like I've never been, and I'm a outdoor man. Something came walking down the trail and stops right across from me, it looked at me!! This creature has that effect on people, no,no! I did not peek. My reason for writing this is for financial gain. I know where the trail is exactly. For years I've hunted Meteorites, mostly deserts...I'm a flamenco studio musician so I'm not some nut lurking in the mountains. I have very good references, and experence. I need to lead the expedition with as few experienced qualified experts as possilble.. Any interested people out there?
