REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: Myself and several others from the P.G&E cabins were enjoying some beers after fishing. (However we were fully aware… cheep beer.) Anyways, we had a radio going and even though there was several people talking and the radio going and all, me and my friend from high school noticed a faint but hideous sound come from beyond the spillway, most likely coming out of the Pit River canyon.

I looked to my friend: "Did you hear that?" He had the same puzzled look as he went to adjust the volume on the radio, not more than a minute went by when a loud cry was heard, this time whatever it was had alarmed everyone and cleared half the distance between us from were we first heard it, everybody was kind of looking at each other confused when it cried out again this time approximately only 50-75 yards away, right along the tree line about half way up the spillway towards us, and this time nobody hesitated. Upon the third roaring howl-cry everyone present at the dam got up and ran, it was everyone for themselves running towards the P.G.&E. cabins

That was incident 1989. In 1992 I was camping in the same place as the 1989 incident (my mom has been taking me her all my life since I was 4 years old almost every summer). Anyway one night I was walking back to camp on Hagen Flat rd. when about 1/4 mile into it off Big Bend Rd. something started to follow me off the side of the road. This thing was huge by the sound of the sticks it was breaking. The scary thing was it was walking on two feet, and was seemingly trying to walk in my footsteps… in other words it would only walk when I walked and it stopped when I stopped.

This thing continued to follow me all the while I started to pray, something I don’t do very much. What’s even worse, I was trying to bargain with God, something like I'll quit smoking cigarettes, and stop being an a-hole as well as try going to church again. I was petrified at this point. Finally from what seemed an eternity (approximately 3/4 mile), I came upon an area were huge power lines run across the road, creating a break in the forest, and whatever was following me stayed on that side of the forest and though with hesitation I continued on to the cabins down the road, I made it back safely. Although quite rattled. The only way I could make out I was still on the road was a bic lighter with no fluid I kept flicking to make sure I was in the middle of the road. That was the 1992 incident.

In 1995 I and my neighbor at the time heard a vocalization identical to the 1989 incident. This time I was working for the California Conservation Corps in Requa CA, basically it is the town of Klamath were the Klamath river hits the Pacific Ocean. I injured my back working in the three c's and was staying with a friend in town recuperating to go back to work.

One night I was taking out a bag of trash and was deja vu-ed to hear the same scream I heard in 1989, only this time I heard it coming from the BLM land behind old man Prichard’s property off Hwy.101 N. about 1/2 mi. south of the Trees Of Mystery. I asked my neighbor if he knew what made that noise going on outside? He said, “What noise?” We went outside and listened for a minute and he said, “Oh, that noise. I don't know what the hell that thing is but it was going on and on all night the other night. It's sounds f...in eerie whatever it is.”

It was only until about a week ago I went to bigfoot vocalizations when I was deja vu-ed again when I heard the Puyallup, Snohomish, and especially the Klamath recording and especially distinctly the third cry you hear in the Klamath recording. Puts chills on me every time I hear it. Funny thing is, every time there was a bear in the trailer park, the dogs, some of them who don't even get along, will for a grace period get along when it comes to cleaning house - (a.k.a. kicking dumpster-loving bears out of the trailer park). But not this time. Not a one could be heard but just dead silence and whatever was making that noise, I recently got in touch with my high school buddy in Montana to tell him to check out the vocalizations on this website. I would love to hear from people who have had similar experiences… (please post your comment in the form below) If I was ever able to afford to go looking for whatever made those sounds I guess I would have a good idea on were to start.
