Description of event: My girlfriend,Lisa, who is sitting beside me as I submit this, worked as a correctional officer at the CCA Prison and was on her way home from work, she worked the 10p.m.-6a.m shift.

As she rounded the curve and topped the hill to start down the hill something crossed the road about 50y-75yds in front of her from south to north. She said it was reddish brown and appeared to be 7-8ft. It happened so fast it startled her to where she stopped the vehicle.

She's not sure what it was,it wasn't an elk or bear that she is sure of.

We have had feelings or being watched when we would go outside at night, and our 2 dogs have acted weird on several occasions. Growling and barking running through the house while doing so wanting to go out. This is late at night 1-2 am.

We both have had feelings of being watched while being outside, to the point to where the hair on your neck would stand up and we didn't want to be outside after 10pm. Our 2 pit bulls would act strange at times and on several occasions it was to the point where I would take lisa to and from work. We felt so uncoftable we moved from there to Pueblo a month later and haven't told a soul about this. Lisa did not like being by herself out there, and swears she would hear things hitting the roof. I heard something hit the roof 1 time when our dogs were acting strange. They would growl under there breath, run back and forth through out the house. They have never did it since. I'm from the Florida panhandle and an avid fisherman. I've been around the woods pretty much my whole life and never have I had the uneasy feelings I had while being out there. The more I think about it the creepier the whole experience was. I just can't get over the fellings of uneasiness I had out there. I still fish at nite but have never had that feeling before or since.
