Two men see Bigfoot in Trinity Mountains

Location: My sighting occurred near the, near the top of the canyon rim above Porrcupine Lake, in The Trinity wilderness.

REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: A friend, and I were hiking out of the basin, when I noticed the dog acting strange. He was cowering behind his masters' leg's, and whimpering. I looked where the dog was looking, and saw a Bigfoot standing in the Manzanita. His head, and shoulder's were above the leave's. I elbowed my friend in the rib's, but he did not respond. He was staring with his eye's wide open, and his jaw dropped. That is when I noticed the awful smell. It was worse than anything, I had ever smelled.
I looked at it for a long time. It seemed to be very curious. It looked at me with it's head cocked. Then it seemed to communicate without sound. It said I will not harm you. I elbowed my friend two more time's, and he finally became aware. I pointed in the direction, of the creature. As soon as he saw it he pulled out his pistol, and pointed it at it. At that instant, it turned and ran, in a zig-zag pattern up, and over the ridge. It was fast! I estimated twenty five mph, five direction changes, in less than two hundred feet.
The next thing I remember was loading gear in Jeep, and driving. I did not remember this experience until year's later. I am still puzzled about the two hour's, and fifteen minute's of lost time.
