REPORT DETAIL
Description of event: I was camping with my husband and two young friends in the Del Norte Redwoods campground. At around 3:00 in the morning, I was awakened by a whooping sound that was soon answered in the distance by similar whooping calls. This chorus of whooping sounds went on for a while. I know it was not elk bugling, nor canine, nor owl calls. I wasn't opposed to the idea that it was a sasquatch. I have since found vocalization recordings from Puyallup, Snohomish and Klamath that match the whooping sounds I heard in July.
