Location: I had no idea this site existed or would have reported it much sooner. But I remember it like it was yesterday. Location was on our property 36286 Hwy 26 Seaside, OR. It came from across the river in the woods and sounded fairly close.

Description of event: While standing outside having a cup of coffee and enjoying the warm evening, we heard a scream that sounded like a cross between a human and animal. It lasted several seconds. It was across the river in the forest. I have never heard anything like it. I know what a Cougar sounds like, this was not a Cougar. We heard no more after that. Have never heard it before or since. My eyes were bugged out I am sure and I looked at my husband and said "What was that?" He laughed and said "Bigfoot." We are thinking it truly was.
