Description of event: As a child I lived on the Scott River,Outside of a town called Fort Jones.In the Summer of 82' my aunt and cousins were visting for the summer as they always did.I remember a hot summer night with family and having fun. We were inside the house when my mom noticed our doberman dog acting strange.He kept circling the outside of our house.My mom kept saying "The dog is acting wierd" A few minuts later my aunt went outside to sneak a smoke.She recalls walking further up behind the house and past the apple trees.She was standing facing the house with her back turned to the trees all of a sudden our dog went running past her growling almost bumping into her,she turned to see what the dog was after.To her surprise she saw a huge hairy man looking thing just standing there staring at her.She also recalls it having a stong foul smell to it.Our dog started circling it.My aunt panicked and ran down to the house screaming our dogs name to follow her back to the house..I remember her running in screaming.She was pale white like she had seen a ghost.She had told us she saw "BigFoot" I was seven years old at the time and I can remember this night like it were yesterday.The next morning we searched for prints and found nothing.We did however find broken branches. To this day I still stand behind my aunt and believe her story.Most people think were crazy for believing but that summer night in '82 proved to me that there are sasquatch.I have since moved from the area to city life but I'am a true believer.
