Description of event: I was in my car parked on the side of the road with a dead battery. I was returning home from a friends cabin 7 mi. east of town when, while sitting there waiting for someone to come by for help, I heard the scream of what I instantly thought was bigfoot. Every cricket, frog, and chirping night creature went silent after this creature screamed. This was a scream unlike any indigenous creature I've ever heard. I heard the scream again 20 some yrs later on Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell on a recording from a crypto-zoologist. The scream I heard came from the tree cover across the river from me.
