REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: Called my wife at 8:59, at the landing. Started up the [ROAD] with her on the phone, driving very slowly. Lighting a cig rate plugging in my phone and getting seat belt on. Stop ed for just a moment to finish with my dome light on. Finished situating my things, turned off the light and began to pull forward. At that point my vehicle was not far from the top off that spur making a left bend down hill. I had just turned on my high beams as I was about to crest the hill. Just a few seconds after I crested the hill, he or she was standing in the road (A BIG FOOT), ABOUT 30TH FEET RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY MINI VAN.PLEASE NOTE, that I was on the phone with my wife, with my high beams onstoped. After being stored and sounded by what I was witnessing for the second time, not but just a few hundred yards difference in location. I flashed my lites and honked several times. The BIG FOOT seamed to have its visual accurate limited, similar to like having the dear in the head lights look . It raised its right arm as to look to its right and took at least two, maybe 3 full steps towards my van. At that point, I put my vehicle into reverse and based up about 20 ft and stoped. Again it made another forward gesturing movement. At that point I exited my vehicle with my riffle, laser targeted , would his right shoulder, pulled my aim, laser, about 3 feet to my left, it's right and opened a warning shot. Just as I shot, it leaned a bit to its left, turning around and with two steps was off the road and very quickly making its way up threw the brush. Stood for a moment to listen in witch direction it was headed. Got back in my van and continued very quickly down the mountian. At the junction of Hwy [EDITED-CONFIDENTIAL]. I contacted a [EDITED] County serif in witch I shared word for word, the same as I just did with you.
