Four years ago at the start of Archery hunting (elk) season in August,
friend Richard Robinson and buddy Monty were at Black Bear Swamp and saw one
of the creatures on a hill by the road about 7 PM. Said to be shadowy,
brownish, maybe 12 feet, Richard said when I talked to him on the phone
8/18.
