Robert Varner was on the hilly slope in Sept. 1982, of a forest road five
miles west of Klamath Falls, OR. At the Twin Lakes area west of the highway
he saw a silhouette going through the trees, and the hair stood straight up
on the back of his neck. He saw with his wife, and they had gone for a walk
when he saw the shadow, about six feet tall, as it moved through the trees.
The sun was going down, and shining through the trees at an angle.
