Investigator Lee Lathrop says the 25th of April he was on a tributary of
Rock Creek, (3 1/4 miles south of the Santiam River, off Rock Creek road)
south of Mill City, OR (T10S, R3E, Sec. 16), about 2200 feet elevation, and
while hiking and looking for Bigfoot sign, found fir trees with the tops
twisted off and hanging, about 8 1/2 feet up, next to an elk game trail.
There were more twisted tops on up the trail, Lee said.
