Observed:

My Mother and I were on our way to Hillsboro OR from Boise ID, we had just passed Multnomah falls around 9:15 at night, off to the right of my car, I saw some movement and as I got closer I could see a large creature about 8 feet tall dark bron hair, with a dome shaped head, I came with in almost 2 feet of hitting it, it acted like it was trying to avoid my car and was swinging around to avoid me, it then went very fast over the gaurd rail into the dark. I also just talked to my friend who had come down to Portland a few days before New years, and she saw what she thinks was the same thing, at the same spot and same time at night.
