Description of event: I was hunting one early morning with my son and we were on a skid trail up in the jackson crick drainage area. We were in my truck driving when we came up to the top of this hill and as soon as we went over the top we spotted something walking up the side of the clear cut area. It was walking on two legs. It was a large hairy animal 8 to 9 ft tall, it had long arms and a cone shaped head. It stopped as soon as it saw us and stared at us for 5 or so seconds then turned and walked into the trees. I've been hunting for 25 years at the time and have shot bear, elk, deer, moose, buffalo and have never seen anything like this in my life. It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. We had high powered rifles with scopes at the time and never once thought about anything but getting the hell out of there.
