REPORT DETAIL

Description of event: At about 3:00am on 5/5/12 (last night) my wife, son, dog and myself were camping at Phillips Lake. The wife and kid were asleep in the tent. The dog and myself were out next to the fire as I could not sleep because of bad back. Right up above us was a trail about 30 yards. I heard 3 or 4 very, very loud whoops and a howl. (like nothing you have ever heard) Come off that trail. Pulled out the spot light, never did see anything. Wife and kid never did wake up through it, don't know how. Dog and myself were spooked.
