Another person Rip interviewed said four elk hunters, two years ago, were
in camp, he said the informant wasn't sure, perhaps near Ukiah, OR. They
were sitting around the campfire drinking screwdrivers when this very loud,
undulating scream scared the bejesus out of them, and they all ran for their
guns. That ended the report...don't know if they shot an elk or not.
