10/11/09: OB Investiator Bill Hodgson recently had an opportunity to record his interview with a witness down in Southern Oregon. This 36-minute audio interview chronicles both a vocalization and visual encounter, as well as numerous other stories of encounters in the same area by other individuals.
9/6/09: Holy Cow! :D OB member Nancy just sent in her field report from her and Bill's latest outing to the Shasta/Trinity area and boy, was it a doozy. Uploaded today are 16 pages worth of detailed field notes, 45 sound files and over 130 photographs of tracks and other evidence. This is, by far, the most detailed research report I've ever seen. Kudos, Nancy, to you for your dedication and incredible thoroughness! If you haven't yet read about Bill and Nancy's separate encounters at this location, which is what coincidentally started all this in the first place, I suggest you begin at the beginning! :) On each page of the report, you'll find a handy-dandy navigation section that'll help you find your way through all 22 pages of this stuff!

I have been working on a new section in my "free" time. *grin* In Wildmen Around the World, we take a pictoral journey through time, delving into some of ways hairy, manlike creatures (Bigfoot?) have been depicted throughout the ages in different corners of the globe. Fascinating stuff! Because I'm attempting to research each image thoroughly, this section is a work in progress, but it's an enjoyable project and I hope you enjoy the results. :)

In these recordings, you'll hear a walking and unidentified speech sequence, as well as a recording of loud movements in the river . These sounds were recorded in the same area of TX where the guys recorded the walkup and coughing. What was it? A bigfoot with a really natsy flu bug?

This story was sent to me by someone who only wishes to be referred to as "L". He is a man well-known to me and is a very credible witness. What he describes here is something that I've heard many times from long-term witnesses. While I cannot explain "L's" story, I think it's an important aspect of research that deserves attention.

In May of 2008, several independent researchers recorded a bipedal creature with a bad cough approaching a bait station and licking peanut butter from the leaves of a tree. Bipedal footsteps. An hour-long audio interview with an eyewitness who reports shooting at a Sasquatch last winter while cutting wood in Douglas County, Oregon. (The interview that you are about to hear may be upsetting. It disturbs me anytime one of these creatures is harmed in any way. However, please keep in mind that the vast majority of people who encounter these creatures are not those who dedicate their lives to studying them - they are usually folks who encounter something strange, huge and terrifying in the wilderness and sometimes react with violence born of fear...) Yes, the timing is entirely coincidental. *grin* I just got permission from the witness to post this after he's reviewed the audio clips to be sure that his confidentiality is not compromised.
This has nothing to do with the supposed DEAD GEORGIA BIGFOOT but I've added updates about that here.

Tom, for those of you who don't know, is a friend of mine who recently moved into a rural home in the south whose previous tenants moved BECAUSE of bigfoot activity. Also, new in EYEWITNESS ENCOUNTERS, my friend Tom has allowed me to post his journal in the members section . Tom and his wife have recently moved to a rural area in South Carolina. They were intentionally looking for a remote piece of land in order to pursue Tom's interest in Bigfoot.
They lucked out. Not only did they find the perfect property - a large piece of acreage that backs up to game management land - but the previous tenants were actually moving BECAUSE of Bigfoot activity.

I've got a really cool new update for you guys and gals tonight... Each year, I go through the database and cull the data for the year. In 2007, I posted the results on the data page. Now that Oregonbigfoot.com has received TWICE the reports that we originally had, I thought it would be interesting to go in and do it again this year, and compare the results.
THE RESULTS ARE ASTOUNDING. Particularly in light of the fact that, if Bigfoot is simply the figment of overactive imaginations, the data wouldn't look like this. Have a look... I think you'll be as amazed as I was.
