Description of event: The first time I encountered something that I couldn't explain, was July 15th, 2007. A friend of mine and I were camping in the exact spot were I go hunting, at about 11 pm it was eerie quiet in the woods, when we heard a whoop repeatedly followed by beatings on a tree. When after several alchoholic beverages shared between my friend and I we decided to beat on a tree back. That went on for almost an hour going back and forth before we realized that it was getting closer. After two hours we realized that it was snapping things and sounded as if trees were exploding as if under severe pressure. We all realized that we needed to get in the vehicle and leave.
